PROUD MEMBERS SINCE 2019 

Jake’s passion for concrete started with pouring all over Whatcom County learning the trade. While studying to be a Firefighter, Jake continued to work in the concrete world, built and poured small jobs for friends, and eventually for contractors by word of mouth.  Jake’s attention to detail and easy going can-do style forged new relationships.  Jake strives for excellence and a job well done.
Both Jake and Geneva have spent 30+ years cumulatively dedicated to the community as active healthcare members.

On June 4, 2015, Jake and Geneva opened their own “official business” which is now CRUX. 

They started CRUX because they wanted to cultivate a platform that invests in people and inspires pride, confidence and quality; they were excited to embark on this adventure together.  With help from friends & family, other businesses in town who were willing to share advice, and professional resources, here CRUX is today, years later and growing exponentially. They're grateful for the opportunity to create jobs for 20+ employees.

CRUX is working on commercial job sites with quality contractors and continues to be a part of the AGC safety team since 2019. Our interest in performing at the highest level possible is a common thread that runs through all our team members. CRUX enjoys being part of city & government projects in our community; building schools, helping out with parks, storage unit projects, water vaults, flatwork, & private large projects. We look forward to growing and supplying our community's concrete needs.
